About us
The Center for Interdisciplinary Applied Research in Health (CIIAS) is a Center for Research & Development (R&D), which develops applied scientific research in the health field.
Funded in 2016 in the context of the R&D Policy of the IPS (N. 112/2013), the CIIAS is based at the Health School of the Setubal Polytechnic Institute (ESS/IPS).
With an interdisciplinary and multiprofessional approach, CIIAS aims to contribute to societal development, through knowledge transfer to different contexts and research, and by providing specialized services to the regional and national community.
