4º Simpósio de Produção e Transformação de Alimentos em Ambiente Sustentável
On 7th June 2018, CINEA was present in the “4º Simpósio de Produção e Transformação de Alimentos em Ambiente Sustentável” that was held in Auditório da UNINOVA, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa Costa da Caparica, Portugal. CINEA members Prof. Nuno Pereira, Prof. Paulo Fontes and Prof. João Garcia were present at this Symposium. The CINEA Coordinator Prof. João Garcia, made a presentation titled “Utilização combinada de energia solar térmica e fotovoltaica na desidratação de hortofrutícolas”. The presentation was related with the development of a dehydrator prototype that uses combined solar thermal and photovoltaic energy in fruit and vegetable dehydration process. The presentation was very well accepted and aroused the interest of the assistance. The director of Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setubal Prof Nuno Pereira was present at the opening table of the symposium.
