SCORES General Assembly Meeting

SCORES General assembly meeting #1, Paris, 18th-20th April 2018

CINEA members Prof João Garcia and Prof Luís Coelho were present in the SCORES Project General Assembly meeting #1, that was held in Paris, France from 18th to 20th of April, 2018, as partners of the project.

In this meeting partners described and discussed the activities that have been developed in the first six months of the SCORES project, and planned the activities within the work packages for the next six months (M7-M12). The CINEA-IPS activities in this period were mainly related with the Computational Fluid Dynamic simulations (CFD) related to the heat transfer in the prototypes.

The SCORES project aims is to develop and demonstrate in the field a building energy system including new compact hybrid storage technologies, that optimizes supply, storage and demand of electricity and heat in residential buildings, increasing self-consumption of local renewable energy in residential buildings at the lowest cost. Combination and optimization of multi-energy generation, storage and consumption of local renewable energy (electricity and heat) brings new sources of flexibility to the grid and giving options for tradability and economic benefits, enabling reliable operation with a positive business case in Europe’s building stock.
