Biografia

Fernando Manuel Fontinha Camilo completed Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal in 2011. He obtained his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Lisbon in 2020. Works in Engineering and Technology with an emphasis on Electrotechnical Engineering, Electronics and Informatics. He is currently an Invited Adjunct Professor at EST Setúbal - IPS. He is affiliated with INESC-ID as a collaborator. He is an integrated member of the MARE scientific research center through the MARE - IPSetúbal unit. In his academic activities, he interacted with 13 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific works. His research interests are in the areas of power systems, photovoltaic energy, integration of renewables in the grid, and operation of power systems with high renewable generation, having published several works in international journals, among them, the International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems, Sustainable Cities and Society, IET Renewable Power Generation, Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution and Solar Energy, Journal of Energy Storage, IEEE Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy, Energies.
