Biografia
Margarida Lopes completed her PhD. in Environment and Sustainability in 2019 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, NOVA School of Science and Technology. She obtained her MSc. in Climate and Atmospheric Environment in 2010 from the University of Évora and her Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering in 2002 from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Setúbal School of Technology. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal and is actively engaged in various committees and councils within the institution, including the Department Executive Committee and the Pedagogical Council at Setúbal School of Technology. Additionally, she participates as a member of the International Student Jury at the same institution. Margarida Lopes has published two articles in journals and contributed to one section of a book. She has been honored with two awards for her work. Her research interests span the fields of Engineering and Technology, with a particular focus on Environmental Engineering, and Natural Sciences, specifically Earth and Environmental Sciences with an emphasis on Atmospheric Sciences.
