Greening - Tornar o comércio global mais ecológico

Initial discussions at various government levels have focused on measuring the carbon footprint of a supply chain.  Currently, there are no standardised mechanisms through which a company can effectively and efficiently present this metric to track its progress over time.  The scope of this research and development project is to design metrics and business mechanisms to calculate the climate impact of a company's end-to-end supply chain. 

The objectives of the project are: 

•    Study to develop a new process through which a company can calculate the carbon footprint of its supply chain.
•    Testing the process in case studies with real supply chains in order to try to design a process that works across multiple sectors.
