Ana Cristina Rodrigues Rolo

Biography

Ana Cristina Rolo is a Coordinator Professor in the Business and Communication Sciences Section at the School of Technology (ESTS) of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS) since 2024. From 1998 to 2024, she taught at the Department of Economics and Management of the School of Business Sciences (ESCE) of the same institute (IPS). In 2015, she obtained her PhD in Management from the University of Évora. She participated as a researcher in two EU-funded research projects (KABADA – and EUDRES). She is co-author of two books, several book chapters, and articles in national and international journals.

She was a member of the Scientific Council of ESCE and of the executive board of the Department of Economics and Management (DEG). She was Director of the Master’s Degree in Business Sciences (2022–2024), having supervised several master's dissertations, and as Coordinator of the Higher Technical Professional Course (CTeSP) in Management Support for Social Organizations (2018–2022).

She is an ANQEP expert in several EQAVET evaluations for the awarding of the quality label in vocational schools. She is currently involved in the ENVOLVER project and in the EUDRES 2.0 network. She is also a researcher at the RESILIENCE Research Centre. In her professional activities, she has collaborated with 73 co-authors on scientific publications.
