Biography
Elisabete Maria Xavier Vieira Gomes completed her PhD in Educational Sciences on 2011/10/04 at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, her Master's degree in Educational Sciences on 2003/07/23 at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and her Bachelor's degree in Educational Sciences on 1996/10/15 at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal and Co-coordinator of the Master's degree in Preschool Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. She has published 22 articles in specialized journals. She has 16 book chapters and 1 book. She organized one event. She supervised 39 master's dissertations. She received one award and/or honor. She participated as a PhD Fellow in one project and as a Researcher in four projects. She works in the area of Social Sciences with an emphasis on Educational Sciences and General Education. In her professional activities, she interacted with 60 collaborators in co-authorships of scientific works.
