Biography

Maria do Rosário da Silva Rodrigues completed her PhD in Multimedia in Education in 2013 and her Master's in Multimedia in Education in 2006, both at the University of Aveiro. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering - fundamental option, in 1979 at the Nova University of Lisbon and her Associate's degree in Mathematics in 1977 at the University of Lisbon. She is a member of the working group for decision-making on educational offerings that include the distance learning component at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS) and a retired Coordinating Professor also at IPS. She has published 24 articles in specialized journals, has 21 book chapters, and 1 book. She organized 30 events and participated in 81 events. She supervised 11 master's dissertations and co-supervised 3. She supervised 1 undergraduate/associate degree final project and co-supervised 1. She participates and/or has participated as a researcher in 5 projects and as the lead researcher in one project. She works in the fields of Engineering Sciences and Technologies, with an emphasis on Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Informatics, and Social Sciences with an emphasis on Educational Sciences. In her professional activities, she interacted with 129 collaborators in co-authorships of scientific works.
