Biography
Pedro José Ambrósio Lobato completed his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specialising in Energy, at NOVA University Lisbon in 2015. He is an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.
He is the author of three articles published in specialist scientific journals, more than twenty papers in international conference proceedings, and a book chapter. His research activity falls within the field of Engineering and Technology, with a particular focus on Electrical Engineering, specifically power systems and renewable energy.
Throughout his scientific career, he has collaborated with 23 co-authors on research and development projects. Among the main topics associated with his scientific and technological output are: Switched Reluctance Generator, Torque Ripple, Analytical Functions Approach, Finite-Element Modelling, AVR, Control Strategy, Current Control Strategy, DINIS, Direct-Drive Wind Turbine and Flux-Linkage Characteristic.
