Biography

Professor at Business School of the Setúbal Polytechnic University (Portugal) since 1995, in the Information Systems Department in the areas of Information Systems, Information Security and Databases. Leonilde has the academic title of Aggregate, a PhD degree in Information Systems and Technologies from University of Minho, Portugal and Master degree in Management Informatics from the Catholic University of Portugal, and a Degree in Informatics/Applied Mathematics from Infante D. Henrique Portucalense University, Portugal. She is integrated member of the RESILIENSE – Center for Regional Resiliense and Sustainability from Setúbal Polytechnic University, Portugal. Leonilde is author of several scientific articles, books, and book chapters in the areas of Information Systems, Information Security, Business Continuity, Sustainability, and Information Communication Technologies. She is also a reviewer for several scientific journals and scientific events and member of public examination of PhD and master’s degrees. At Setúbal Polytechnic University, she has been President of the Pedagogical Council, Vice-President of the Scientific Council, President of the Assembly of Representatives, Member of the Setúbal Polytechnic University General Council, Coordinator of the Research Center, Head of the Research Laboratory, Department Coordinator, Department President, Head of the Computer and Multimedia Laboratory, Director of a Master's Degree, Scientific Coordinator of a Master's Degree, Member of the Business School Advisory Board and Member of the Business School Statutory Assembly.
