Biography
Natália Osório got the PhD in Agro-Industrial Engineering in 2008 from Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA/University of Lisbon), the MSc. in Food Science and Technology in 2000 (University of Lisbon) and the graduation in Agro-Industrial Engineering at ISA (University of Lisbon) in 1996.
Natália Osório is an adjunct professor at Politécnico de Setúbal and is currently an integrated member of MARE-Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre and contributing member of the RESILIENCE - IPS center.
Her research interests have been focused in the field of Food Engineering, mainly devoted to the Science and Technology/Biotechnology of Oils and Fats. She has been working on the development of enzyme-catalyzed processes to produce structured functional lipids in batch or continuous bioreactors, using immobilized commercial enzymes or non-commercial enzymes. She has participated in national and international research projects and is the author of several papers in international scientific periodicals with referees.
