Biography

Raquel Teixeira holds a PhD in chemistry from Instituto Superior Técnico (2012) and has authored 13 publications with an h-index of 10.

Her research, developed across four research centers from three universities in Portugal, spans a broad range of subjects from organic chemistry and photophysical phenomena to materials science and nanotechnology, focusing on the synthesis, properties, and applications of innovative materials in various fields. 

She has extensive experience in synthesizing and characterizing novel materials and has contributed to the development of technologies aimed at enhancing the efficacy and sustainability of chemical processes.

Additionally, she co-founded Spartax Chemicals, which pioneers in using sustainable resources like industrial lupin bean wastewater for innovative chemical production.
