Sandrina Berthault Moreira

Biography

Sandrina B. Moreira holds a PhD in Economics in 2012 by ISCTE-IUL; MSc in Economics in 2002 by ISEG; Licenciatura in Economics in 1999 by University of Coimbra (Faculty of Economics). She is an Assistant Professor at DEG-ESCE-IPS (Department of Economics and Management, School of Business Administration, Polytechnic Institute of Setubal, Portugal) and a Researcher at RESILIENCE-IPS and BRU-IUL (Business Research Unit), ISCTE-IUL. She is currently involved in three International Research Projects: E³UDRES² 2.0 (Smart Learners at E3UDRES2 2.0 European University Alliance); E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators - Cooperating for Excellence and Impact in Research and Innovation; EULAC ENERGYTRAN – EULAC FOR ENERGY TRANSITION: RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURES COOPERATION FOR ENERGY TRANSITION BETWEEN EUROPE AND LATINAMERICAN AND THE CARIBBEAN COUNTRIES.

She is currently a member of the School Technical-Scientific Board and also a member of the School Pedagogical Council, former Head of Department (2018-2022), former Vice-President of the School Pedagogical Council (2018-2022), former Course Coordinator of short cycle technical degree on Management Support for Social Organizations (2015-2017), and former School Coordinator of International Mobility (2013-2017), including International School Projects like International Business Weeks, International Workshops (Management Simulation Game BO-Cash), and Intensive Program IMEO (International Mass Event Organization).

Works in the area(s) of Social Sciences with emphasis on Economics and Business. 

Her broad research and teaching interests are Macroeconomics, Economic Growth, Sustainable and Human Development, and International Economics.
