Biography
Amândio Robalo has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, in 2010. He is co-author of ten publications in peer-reviewed international journals and over 20 presentations at conferences, seminars, and workshops. He participated in nine International Research Projects and was responsible for several work packages in different research projects funded by Europe. In the last four years, he was part of the coordination team of the European project TESS2B. He also served as a guest lecturer and supervised several undergraduate theses.
Scientific Interests: Methods of Modeling and Simulation of Combustion Systems, Design and Performance Evaluation of Energy Systems, Dynamic Simulation of Energy Systems, Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Renewable Energy Systems, Applications of Nanofluids.
