Ana Paula Eugénio de Oliveira

Biography

Ana Paula Eugénio de Oliveira teaches at the Higher Institute of Education and Sciences (ISEC Lisbon) since 2013, in various curricular units in the areas of Chemistry, Environment, Sustainability, Optical Materials, Water Resources, Coastal Risks, and Prevention of Major Accidents. She also holds management positions and is currently the General Director of the Directorate General for Research and Development. Since 2013, she has been a member of the Technical-Scientific Councils of ISEC Lisbon, having served as Vice-President for one term and President for two terms. From March 2019 to July 2020, she coordinated the Social Responsibility Office. Since 2019, she has been a collaborator at the Center for Applied Studies and Research (CEIA) at ISEC Lisbon. Since 2021, she has been a collaborator at the European Center for Urban Risks (CERU). In 2022, she began collaborating with the Center for Research, Development, and Innovation in Tourism (CiTUR) – Estoril Branch. Her main research topics are Environment, Education for Sustainability, Climate Change, Coastal Risks, Risks and Vulnerabilities, Prevention of Major Accidents, and Safety (activities carried out within the scope of CEIA and CERU).
