Biografia
É professor no Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. Possui Doutoramento em Gestão Global, Estratégia e Desenvolvimento Empresarial, sendo o tema da sua tese "A Avaliação do Desempenho Financeiro no Sector das Tecnologias de Informação" . É investigador e consultor em diferentes indústrias em Finanças, Estratégia, Empreendedorismo, Internacionalização e Sistemas de Controlo de Gestão. É coordenador do Projeto ENVOLVER - Apoio no acesso ao financiamento, que se encontra em desenvolvimento em Angola, em parceria com o IAPMEI e com a sua entidade congênere angolana, o INAPEM. É também mentor da incubadora IPStartUp do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. É autor de livros e de diversos artigos em revistas e conferências nas suas áreas de investigação. É também membro de vários projetos de investigação nacionais e internacionais e de diversas comissões científicas de conferências e revistas internacionais. He is a professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. He has a PhD in Global Management, Strategy and Business Development, the subject of his thesis being "The Assessment of Financial Performance in the Information Technology Sector".
He is a researcher and consultant in different industries in Finance, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Internationalization and Management Control Systems. He is coordinator of the ENVOLVER - Support Project in access to financing, which is under development in Angola, in partnership with IAPMEI and its Angolan counterpart, INAPEM. He is also a mentor at the IPStartUp incubator at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. He is the author of books and several papers in journals and conferences in his areas of research. He is also a member of several national and international research projects and several scientific committees of international conferences and journals.
