The program “Comunidades em Ação” refers to the support plan for disadvantaged communities in the Lisbon metropolitan area. IPS is part of this project with two local integrated operations: one for Montijo and Afonsoeiro, with an investment of approximately 3.25 million euros and is intended to support communities considered more vulnerable in the neighborhoods of Caneira, Calçada, Esteval and Afonsoeiro; and the other for Pegões and Canha, which provides for the implementation of projects organized in an action plan with an investment of approximately 2.75 million euros and which is intended to support communities considered more vulnerable in these two parishes of the municipality.
